When the climbing is too good to let go, we need gear we won’t have to let go of. The longer our goods stay in rotation (and out of the landfill), the more meaningful they become. Sometimes they end up telling our stories better than we can.Â
 Â
So join us for a celebration of rock climbing and gear-repair nerdery on July 17th with Patagonia Ambassador Katie Lamb, who embodies this ethos better than most. We’ll screen her new film In Sequence and offer a sneak preview of Katie’s Reinforced collection with Worn Wear, available for purchase online on July 26th.Â
Â
630-730PM Repair Workshop with Katie Lamb and Worn WearÂ
Learn how to hand sew a tear and whipstitch a patch with Katie Lamb and Worn Wear. Bring your favorite torn garment to repair, or we can provide you with something to practice on. Please arrive a little before 630 PM to participate in the workshop.
 Â
7-730PM Social HourÂ
Enjoy some beers from Hutton & Smith and hang time before the show with Katie, Southeastern Climbers Coalition, Crag Cat Repairs and The Repair Cafe.
 Â
730PM Screening of In Sequence (30min~) and Q&A with KatieÂ
When Katie Lamb’s send of Box Therapy (V15/16) pushes her from the margins of the climbing conversation to the center stage, what should have been a crowning achievement becomes a challenge to define what drew her to climbing in the first place.Â
 Â
Stick around after the film for a Q&A with Katie.

The Repair Cafe is an international community lead effort to help people build the skills to maintain what they own and reduce unnecessary waste. Rather than hide the work in the back room, we bring you to the repair table and help guide you through the process of troubleshooting and repair. Our monthly local event was started a year ago with help from our host, Chattlab Makerspace. Through their diverse collection of tools and knowledge, we're able to help guide our guests through repairs of pretty much anything they can get through the door, all while charging nothing for our expertise and use of the equipment.
